KIMS Observes World Pharmacists Day
Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) organized a Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of World Pharmacists Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta said, though it has widely been accepted that Doctors are like God to hapless patients, Pharmacists are not left far behind as patients believe them blindly. A Pharmacist plays a significant role in guiding patients for improving medication adherence.

Pharmacists are an integral part of any hospital and patients repose full trust on them in dispensing medicine, said Maj. Gen. Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Patnaik. Chemistry is the core subject of Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS and pharmacists occupy a special place in his heart, he added.
In his welcome address, Mr. Dillip Kumar Panda, Director, Administration, KIMS shared his professional and personal experience and positive impact of the Founder’s guidance on his career.
