KIMS Faculty Invited By IAP To Train Paediatricians From Across Odisha

IAP Odisha organized a pivotal state-level NC-ECD (Nurturing Care—Early Childhood Development) module. The event saw the participation of paediatricians from across Odisha.

KIMS Faculty member Prof. Nirmal Mohakud was extended an invitation to train 40 paediatricians. Prof. Mohakud offered invaluable insights and training to the attending paediatricians, sharing expertise and knowledge on the critical aspects of early childhood development.

The focal point of the module centered on the Nurturing Care Framework, recognized as an essential roadmap for action geared towards ensuring children not only survive but also thrive, thereby optimizing their health and human potential. This comprehensive guideline serves as a blueprint intended for a diverse spectrum of stakeholders involved in child welfare.
