KIDS Organizes “ISP Colloquium 2022”
The Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP) Colloquium 2022 was organized by Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), KIIT Deemed to be University in association with ISP Study Group Bhubaneswar & Cuttack and IDA Temple City Branch on 12th and 13th February 2022. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Anirban Chaterjee, President, ISP; Dr. H. S. Grover, Secretary; Prof. Ashish Jain from Chandigarh; Prof. Dr. Abhay Kolte from Nagpur; Prof. Dr. Aswini Kumar Kar, Principal, KIDS; Dr. Jugajyoti Pathi, Asst. Director; Dr. Md. Jalaluddin, Senior Professor; and Dr. Subash Raj, SCB Dental College, Cuttack.
First day of the Colloquium focused on Clinical Periodontics for post graduate students. Prof. Dr. Abhay Chandra Das, from IDS, SOA University delivered a talk on the topic ‘Documentation in Clinical Periodontics: Stepping beyond Ordinary Diagnosis’, followed by guest lectures by Dr. Naina Patnaik, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Subash Chandra Raj, Dr. Samarjeet Pattnaik and Dr. Neelima Katti. Day-2 of the Colloquium threw light on periodontal practice for general practitioners in relation to Diabetes and Dental implants. Prof. Dr. Ashish Jain, Prof. Dr. Abhay Kolte, Dr. H. S. Grover, Dr. Anirban Chatergee and Dr. Nitin Dani were eminent speakers of the day.
The event was a huge success among all the delegates. All the arrangements for the Colloquium were made under the guidance of Dr. Jugajyoti Pathi. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Faculty, KIDS & Scientific Chairman delivered the vote of thanks. As many as 170 delegates registered for the event from Odisha state.
