Institutional Visit by Eminent Professors
Prof (Dr.) Asim Das, an eminent hepatopathologist and Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh visited the Department of Pathology, KIMS from 23rd – 26th March 2022. During his visit, he interacted with the departmental faculty and discussed the scope regarding transplant pathology. He also interacted with the PG students regarding liver pathology. He will pay a monthly visit to KIMS and be actively involved in UG and PG teaching. He will also be a member of the liver transplant programme.
Similarly, Dr. Ashok Kumar Choudhury, Clinical Lead & Senior Consultant of Hepatology, Liver Transplant at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram, visited Gastroenterology Department, KIMS and interacted with the post-graduate students and the faculty of super-speciality Department of Gastroenterology and Gastrosurgery. As a son of the soil, he looks forward to rendering his professional services to the populace of Odisha via KIMS Super-speciality Centre.
