IAPSM World Health Day Quiz at KIMS

Department of Community Medicine, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar, under the aegis of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) with support of IAPSM – Odisha State Chapter, organised an IAPSM World Health Day Quiz-2023 competition for MBBS students on the occasion of World Health Day, 2023.

The event was organized by Dr. Ipsita Debata and Dr. Prem Sagar Panda, under the leadership of Dr. Basanta Kumar Behera, Prof and HOD and with the support from PG students of the Department.

The elimination round was held on April 3. Total 33 under graduate students in 11 teams participated for the elimination round and four teams got selected for the final round. The final round of the quiz was held on April 10. It was hosted by Dr. Ipsita Debata. First year postgraduates, namely, Dr. Dibyajyoti Mandal, Dr. Nirmalya Mohapatra, Dr. Spandan Mishra, Dr. Angana Ray and Dr. Sneha Bhowmick played active role in the event. The winners of the final round were Aishwarya Jee (3rd Professional Part-II), Anurag Tiwari (3rd Professional Part-I) and Aishwarya Singh (2nd Professional). Prize distribution ceremony was conducted in the afternoon on April 10. KIMS Principal Brig. Professor (Dr) Ambika Prasad Mohanty awarded prizes to the winners of all events.
