Director (Administration) of KIMS Becomes a Member of OSAHC

In the lines of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), the newly-constituted Odisha State Allied and Healthcare Council (OSAHC) has nominated Mr. Dillip Panda, Director (Administration), School of Medicine and PBMH, KIMS as a member.

According to a notification issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Odisha Government, while Head of Department of Medical Physics at Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer, Cuttack Dr Pradeep Kumar Hota has been nominated as the chairman of the council, Additional Director Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Dr Umakant Satapathy, Associate Professor and HoD Clinical Psychology at SCBMCH, Cuttack Dr Jashobanta Mahapatra and Director Kashinath Institute of Technical Education Baripada, Debashish Panda were nominated as members of the council, among others.

Apart from these members, Additional Director DMET, HoDs of Radiology and Pathology Departments of SCBMCH, Cuttack, and chairmen of all autonomous boards across the State were also nominated as members of OSAHC. 

Expressing his happiness over the Government nomination, the Founder of KIIT-KISS Achyuta Samanta congratulated Panda and thanked the State Government for nominating him to OSAHC. Saying that his sincerity and efficiency have earned him the membership of OSAHC, the KIIT-KISS Founder has hoped that Panda’s long work experience at KIMS will help him deliver good results at OSAHC.
