Contaminated Heart Valve Replaced Without Opening the Chest through TAVI Procedure at KIMS

Team Cardiac Science, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) performed another TAVI procedure, a less invasive procedure to replace the contaminated Heart Valve without opening the chest. KIMS has become the first mover for TAVI procedure and has done the highest number of such procedures in Odisha till date. The KIMS fraternity has expressed thankfulness to Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT & KISS for developing the state-of-the-art Cardiac Science unit at KIMS, which is the only center in Odisha having 2 cathlabs, own 3D EP lab, Rota ablator, IVUS, FFR facilities, TWIN Modular Operation Theater, and 40 ICU beds exclusively in a single dedicated floor for seamless treatment of heart patients.
