In his address to the students, the Principal of KIMS, Maj. Gen.(Dr.) P.K. Patnaik said, “do not forget the tradition of our institute. After you pass out, your relation with the institute does not come to an end. Rather it begins and continues lifelong. Actually, you are our goodwill ambassadors and if you do well, we feel happy.”

Medical Superintendent of KIMS, Dr. Jyotin Kumar Das advised the students to honor the profession, institute, facilities and our Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta. “Unless one honor himself, he should not expect honor from others,” he said. “During the profession one must love the patients because patients are the real teachers for a good doctor and that love stands for listening, observing, verifying and enjoying,” added Dr. Das.
