Training on Financial Literacy-cum-Investor Awareness
Conducted for Non-Teaching Staff at KIIT-DU
A training program on “Financial Literacy-cum-Investor Awareness” was conducted on 14 March 2026 at KIIT-DU, for all the non-teaching staff. The program was conducted under the aegis of the Training & Skilling Unit – HR Cell and reaffirmed KIIT-DU’s institutional commitment to employee well-being, capacity building, and life skills development.
The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU; Mr. Sibananda Mishra, Director General – HR, KIIT-DU; and Mr. Sangram Keshari Sahoo and Mr. Anand Singdeo, trainers from the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India.




In her welcome address, Dr. Manojna Panda, Additional Director – Training & Skilling, KIIT-DU, extended a heartfelt welcome to all participants and dignitaries. She expressed deep gratitude to the Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, for his visionary leadership and for creating a platform that consistently promotes employee development in its broadest and most meaningful sense. She emphasized that the programme was not merely a training intervention but an initiative rooted in the Founder’s belief that institutional growth is complete only when employees are empowered professionally, personally, and financially.
The program was further enriched by the inspiring address of Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, who shared his valuable thoughts and encouraged participants to make the most of such meaningful learning opportunities that strengthen both awareness and financial confidence.
The training session focused on critical aspects of financial planning and the importance of saving through effective money management, along with key areas such as digital banking, credit availability, financial inclusion, and awareness of financial fraud and scams, to equip non-teaching staff with practical insights for making informed and responsible financial decisions.
