Summer School for Czech University of Life Sciences concluded successfully at KIIT and KISS

KIIT and KISS hosted a 3 week Summer School Program for the students from Czech University of Life Sciences (CZU, Prague, Czech Republic) from 19th August – 7th Sept, 2019 as a part of the MoU signed between CZU and KIIT/KISS. The Summer School takes place annually to provide the students an experience of India with the help of academic discussions as well as field trips & excursions.

This year, a group of 14 participants from Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague from various academic disciplines such as Quality of Agriculture Products, Tropical Agriculture, Public Administration, Waste Processing Technology, Economics and Management attended the program.

The program included lectures and discussions on topics such as KIIT & KISS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha along with its history and culture, Indian Economics and Business, Rural Management, Architecture, Religion, Tourism, Law, Tribal Culture, Green Initiatives at KISS, Art of Giving, Hindi, Indian Cuisine, Dance And Music along with excursions to places of historic and cultural importance.

The program was successfully concluded in a span of 3 weeks. The certificates were awarded by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT and KISS to the students in the presence of Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar, KIIT DU and Mr. Debraj Pradhan, (Retd. Ambassador) Director General, International Relations Office. During the closing ceremony, the students expressed their high regards and appreciation for the Hon’ble Founder and the noble work that is being carried out at KISS.
