‘Sharod Agomoni’- Durga Puja Pre-Celebration at KIIT
‘Sharod Agomoni’ – A celebration that has a unifying force to bring people together at KIIT. It was not merely a religious festival or a cultural extravaganza but a pious conglomeration of the young minds.
For the first time, KIIT Deemed to be University celebrated ‘Sharod Agomoni’, a cultural evening that embodied the spirit of Durga Puja at KIIT Student Activity Centre on 25th September, 2019. The amount of talent displayed such as Giti Natak, Abritti (Recitation), Fusion Music (Tabla vs Beat Boxing) , Classical Dance & Dhanuchi Naach(Nritya) with Dhak was something truly incredible. The Most attracting part of the evening is the Artistic Durga Pratima made by the Decoration team of Kreative Eye.
More than 500 KIITians attended the celebration. The view of girls draped in the quintessential saree and boys in the intricately designed kurta was fascinating. Everyone were part of the traditional dance which showcased their Unity as well as their devotion for Goddess Durga. The Dy. Director, Student Services and the entire KSAC team were present on the occasion.
