Secretariat and Website of 39th World Congress of Poets Inaugurate
The Secretariat office of the 39th World Congress of Poets (WCP) was inaugurated at KISS campus by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, President of 39th World Congress of Poets 2019 in the presence of executive board members of the WCP and WAAC, Jacob Isaac and Dr. R. K. Das. The 39th WCP will be organized at KIIT and KISS from 2-6 October 2019. The preparations are in full swing. The Secretariat will operate 24×7 from the office. The website of the meet was also launched on the occasion.
Over 1,000 poets and writers including Noble Laureates, from 75 countries and 2,000 delegates from India would participate in this Congress. KIIT and KISS are set to host it in its style marked by grandeur and glitter. Appreciating the efforts in preparation for the forthcoming Congress, Dr. Jacob Issac said, “WAAC and WCP is lucky and blessed by your leadership this year”.
Prof. Samanta remarked that the Congress will see a good academic exchange as poets and writers from across the globe will come together. “I feel it will definitely give a very good boost to poets and writers in the state of Odisha and in India as well.” he added.
