Saina Salonika brings laurels
WFM Saina Salonika of Odisha bagged the Silver Medal in the National Under 17 Girl’s Chess Championship held at Kochi from 29th June to 7th July, 2019. Saina won 5 games and drew 6 games taking her points to 8.
With this win, Saina has been selected to represent India in the World Youth Chess Championship to be held at Romania. In all, Saina has won 15 international Medals till date. Hailing from Keonjhar district, Saina is now a student of Class XI Humanities Stream of KiiT International School, Bhubaneswar
