Public Spiritual Library Inaugurated at Shribani Kshetra Religious Scripture-one of the means of living: Shankaracharya
“Religious Scripture has been the medium of living. It enhances our wisdom as well as invigorates our standard of living”, preached His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Puri Gobardhan Pitha, Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati on the eve of inauguration of “Kiara”-a Spiritual Library at Shribani Kshetra, KISS on 15th September, 2019.
“There are differences between Education and Art. Education is determined by conversation while Art is determined by silence. On the other hand, Veda has been the essence of Science, Mathematics, Political Science and Economics. In delving deep into the quiescent minds, the tool which gets utilized and effectual, is called scripture. So, it carries immense significance in our lives”, added the Shankaracharya.
While the VC of KISS DU, Prof. Harekrishna Satapathy informed the audience about the salient features of the Library, Founder of KIIT &KISS Dr. Achyuta Samanta placed the Welcome Speech. Among others, Baba Ram Narayan Das, Swami Sivachidananda Saraswati, Swami Jagannathananda Saraswati, Matruprasad Mishra and Manoj Rath along with many saints and monks were present in the religious congregation.
In fact, in recent past, Jagadguru Shankaracharya and Maharaja Dibyasingh Dev of Puri had proposed Dr. Samanta to establish a Spiritual Library in KISS. Accordingly, such a library has been established on behalf of KIIT Temple Trust at KISS. Having various religious scriptures and books, this public library has a very beautiful reading room for avid readers and devotees.
