Post-Graduates in Respiratory Medicine Department excel at the 16th Annual Conference
The Department of Respiratory Medicine, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, recently organized the 16th Annual State Conference on Chest Diseases on the 11th and 12th January, 2020. Around 200 chest physicians from the state and outside attended the conference. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University.
The first day of the conference comprised workshops and free paper presentations. Dr. Vivek D. Aloney, Post Graduate resident won the first prize for his paper entitled “A Study of the Role of Viral Infections in Acute Exacerbation of COPD: A Cross Sectional Observation Study” while Dr. K. Madhuri won the second prize for her paper “The Study of the Pattern of Disease and Outcome of FDC in Children with Tuberculosis”.
