Orientation Programme For Newly Inducted Faculties Inaugurated At KIIT
An Orientation Programme for newly inducted faculties is being held at KIIT from 22nd to 25th October, 2018.The Programme was inaugurated today by Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar of KIIT DU at Seminar Hall -1, Campus-6.
Addressing the faculties on the inaugural session, Prof. Samanta said that, our Learning Process is something different and our Academic Calendar has been scientifically designed. Moreover, each and every school is designed in a such away. As our students are exposed to different resources and knowledge base, they have to follow the process rather than the information. The faculties should be instrumental for the process as well as the information.
She further said that teaching is not just a job for a teacher. Rather each and every teacher should take the onus of making a student to the level of the institution. Besides, a teacher should be very enterprising. In order to augment research works, activity based learning system should be given priority. We all should contribute and grow together and it is our basic objective. She expected the Orientation Programme will have a positive impact on the faculties by and large.
Programme Coordinator Dr. Chinmay Kumar Das, Director, Administration was present and spoke on the occasion among the faculties of different schools of KIIT DU.
