Orientation Programme for B.Sc & M.Sc Nursing Students at KINS
An Orientation Programme was conducted on 26th December 2020 for the newcomers of B.Sc. (Nursing) and M.Sc.(Nursing) courses by Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) on a virtual platform. In her welcome address, Prof. (Mrs) Amarita Lenka, Principal, KINS briefed the newcomers about KIIT-DU, KISS-DU, KIMS and KINS as well as the vision and mission of its Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta.
The orientation programme was attended by around 150 participants, including students as well as faculty members of KINS.
Prof. Pramoda Kumari Nayak, Principal, SoN and Prof. Niyati Das, Vice Principal, KINS along with other faculty members introduced themselves, welcomed students and congratulated them for choosing to pursue their dreams through KINS.
Mr. Chandan Pradhan, Faculty from KINS took students on a virtual tour of KIIT, KIMS, KINS & KISS through pictures and videos and also introduced them to the top functionaries of the institutes. This was followed by the students’ introduction.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Minati Das, Assistant Professor, KINS and the programme was moderated by Mrs. Angel M. P. Dani, Tutor, KINS.
