KSRM Organizes 5th Annual Students’ Conclave ‘Sangati-2018’

The 5th Annual Students’ Conclave ‘Sangati-2018’ is being held under the aegis of KIIT School of Rural Management on 24th and 25thAugust, 2018 at Campus-6 Banquet Hall. The theme of this year’s Conclave is  ‘Entrepreneurship For Development: Crafting Leaders for Development’.

Gracing the occasion as Key-Note Speaker, Sri P. J. Nath, I.A.S. said that the Government will not be able to reach to each and every people until and unless enterprising abilities, attitude and aptitude of the people emerge. The growth of development is called social entrepreneurship which is the fundamental requirement of a viable economic model.

Advising the students, he said, “most of you have innate capabilities, it is all about how best you can do. As a lot of opportunities are there, so I request all of you try to come out with brilliant ideas, think about Inclusive Development in your mind and think Entrepreneurship in real sense.”

Sri R.N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT and KISS told that, Inclusiveness is the answer to India’s development in general and rural development in particular.

Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT-DU remarked that day by day, the development and rural character are changing gradually. Equilibrium in entrepreneurship has been changed with our lifestyle. Nevertheless, there  is a space, we need to cover for the sake of development. He urged the trainee social entrepreneurs to go to the villages and analyze the way how social entrepreneurship has taken shape there.

Prof. L.K. Vaswani, Director, KIIT School of Rural Management emphasizes Rural Entrepreneurship through partnership. He said, the entrepreneurship in India can grow through the widows of the people.
