KIIT wins top honour in IIT-G Techfest

A micro-mouse designed by four students of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Deemed University was adjudged the best in the Robotic Show at Technical Festival organized at IIT Guwahati recently. KIIT students piped teams from institutions such as IITs and NITs to win the top honous at the hands of Hon’ble Governor of Assam. The flawless design and innovative response to crisis of the micro-mouse won whooping accolades with a convincing lead score of 1349 points against 92 points secured by the next contending team. It completed the maze seamlessly and was the abject of raving the review.— The team comprising Tushar Kanti, 5th Semester ETC, Nilav Ghosh, 5th Semester ETC, Manish Kumar 5th Semester ETC and Sankalap Pattanaik, 5th Semester ETC, receive the first prize from the Hon’ble Governor of Assam in very citadel of technical education namely IIT Guwahati the venue of Technical Festival. Congratulating the winning team on their stupendous achievement, Dr. A.Samanta, Chancellor of KIIT Deemed University, said that they have made not only the institute, but also the state proud.
