KIIT SoEE Hosts Panel Discussion on ‘Will People-Grid Reinvent the Smart Grid’
KIIT School of Electrical Engineering (SoEE) hosted an International Panel Discussion on the theme “Will People-Grid Reinvent the Smart Grid” with industry speakers during the MEGA HR KONCLAVE – 2020 on 28th August, 2020
Prof. Subrat Behera hosted the panel and welcomed the guests for the discussion. Dr. Chinmoy Panigrahi, Director, School of Electrical Engineering introduced all the guests to all participants. Mr Somasundaram, Head of Business Strategic Initiatives, MYTRAH ENERGY moderated the panel discussion and networked with all the speakers on recent market scenario under the theme.
Mr Anil Bhasin, President, Havells India shared his viewpoints on today’s generation with respect to the recent gadgets and the global technology change. Mr Krishna Kishore, Senior VP, Greenko, discussed about the largest solar project and informed students regarding the big opportunity for students and skilled people.
Mr Sidharth Das, Co Promoter and Executive Chairman, Infra Prime Logistics shared his views on technologies to be approached and technology drift that is happening and what a student today must be aware of for better opportunities
Mr Sanjay Kumar, Head HR, L&T Metro Rail highlighted the revolutionary smart grid and its importance. He also shared his views on the prospective role of smart grid in nation building.
Mr Ramchander Maddela, CHRO, Power-Mech supported smart grid points and added flavors to it. He even highlighted on skills that students must have today and added benefits to be the member of an official group of smart grid
Mr Krishna Kishore, Head, Essar Power mentioned relevant points on career planning in the areas of core sector as there is a huge potential in core and renewable industries in future. Mr Debajyoti Mohanty, Maersk focused on technology disruption and reverse engineering which is making the market more vibrant.
