KIIT School of Languages Organizes Virtual Lecture on “Modernism, Women’s Writing and First Wave”

School of Languages, KIIT Deemed to be University organized a virtual lecture on “Modernism, Women’s Writing and the First Wave”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Shrabani Basu on 10th June 202. Dr. Basu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Deshabandhu Mahavidyalaya. Her lecture focused on the first wave of feminism and modernism along with its similarities and dissimilarities, taking into account the point at which they converge and depart.

Ms. Ranjita Majumdar, student of M.A. English anchored the session which was graced by Dr. Biswajit Das, Professor and Dean, KIIT School of Languages, Dr. Sahel Md Delabul Hossain, Academic Coordinator and other faculty members of the School.The lecture was attended by students, scholars and academicians across the country and was appreciated by all the participants. The event was curated and coordinated by Prof. Debanjali Roy and Prof. Tanmoy Putatunda, Assistant Professors of the School of Languages with the active support of the students of Postgraduate studies in English, KIIT School of Languages.
