KIIT School of Biotechnology and School of Chemical Technology organize Fresher’s Welcome Function, “COSMOS 2K19”
The Fresher’s Welcome Function, “COSMOS 2K19” of School of Biotechnology and School of Chemical Technology was held on 22nd September, 2019 at Auditorium, Campus-11.
The Inaugural Function was graced by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT DU; Prof. Mrutyunjay Suar, Director, School of Biotechnology and School of Chemical Technology, KIIT DU and Dr. Suraj Tripathy, Associate Dean, School of Chemical Technology, KIIT DU.
At the outset, Dr. Suraj Tripathy welcomed all the guests and cherished the enthusiasm and hard work of the students in organizing the event and motivated all the senior students to act as friend and mentor to the new comers.
Prof. Mrutyunjay Suar emphasized on the responsibility of the students to uphold the eminence of the University in terms of academic, research and alumni connect.
Prof. Sasmita Samanta narrated about remarkable landmarks of the School and praised all the faculties and students of the school for bringing laurels to the university. She also urged the students to achieve something exceptional through hard work and dedication.
Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS appreciated the hard work of the Director, faculties and students of the school for maintaining high standards in academic and research. He congratulated all the students and faculties for being part of the youngest university with “Institute of Eminence” tag with it. In particular, he urged all the faculties of both the schools to focus on R & D.
The program was witnessed by Students, Faculty Members and Administrative Staff. The Inaugural Session was followed by various cultural activities by the 2nd year students.
