A five day workshop is being  organized by KIIT School of Architecture, from 7th to 12th November, 2019 in collaboration with French Embassy involving 20 faculties and students from National School of Architecture(ENSAS),  Strasbourg, France; Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Germany and KRVIA, Mumbai.

This Indo-Franco-German workshop has students from the three countries carrying out a detailed study in eight different sectors of Bhubaneswar to assess the place of heritage in the development plans of the urban areas of these cities. Heritage is an essential dimension to take into account in urban development plans of a city, its history and its memory. Through our reading of the past, heritage governs our choices for the future.

The observations and recommendations developed by the students will culminate in a public conference in Delhi involving  citizens, researchers and professionals while  the debate will be opened inviting the citizens to seize this issue.
