KIIT School of Applied Sciences Celebrates International Women’s Day 2020

The School of Applied Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, celebrated International Women’s Day under the active leadership of Dr. Madhusmita Sahoo and Dr. Anita Pati, Associate Professors on   8th March, 2020.

Students and faculty members joined together at interactive sessions in presence of Dr. Abhipsa Mishra, Laparoscopic Surgeon and Infertility Specialist, on Women’s well being and health; Smt. Pragyan P Bastia, State Manager, Women’s helpline, Odisha and Smt. Lora Mohapatra, Social Activist. The speakers and members from Faculty also discussed about various scopes available to women today to chart their own success as well as contributing actively in a global arena.   

The event started with an encouraging message from Hon’ble Founder of KIIT and KISS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta as “International Women’s Day belongs to all the courageous women around the world who have made enormous contributions to our society. Shine on, not just today, everyday.”
