An eight-day in-person Faculty Development Program (FDP), sponsored by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), on Universal Human Values-II (UHV-II) was inaugurated at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University on 14th June 2024.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Professor (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, warmly welcomed the participants, emphasizing the crucial role of universal human values in fostering a harmonious and inclusive global society.
Distinguished guests from AICTE were honored for their dedication to promoting these values. Resource persons from AICTE, Mr. Umesh Namdev Jadhav and Dr. Dillip Debnath, provided deep insights into the significance of universal human values in enhancing understanding, compassion, and cooperation across diverse cultural and societal landscapes.
At the inauguration, Sh. Rabindra Kr. Rout, an observer from NCCIP AICTE, outlined the rules and regulations of the FDP, followed by a vote of thanks from Dr. M. K. Maharana. Dr. Satyaranjan Jena, the Local Program Coordinator of the FDP, hosted the event, which saw participation from the Dean, Director, and faculty members from various schools at KIIT University.
