KIIT Medical Society ‘KIMAYA’, organized Health Fest – CHIMERA 2k19
‘KIMAYA’, the Medical, Dental and Nursing Society of KIIT Deemed to be University organized a two day Health Fest – CHIMERA 2k19 with the theme “The Birth of Medicine” that aims to provide a platform for the congregation of both medical and non-medical fraternity of eastern India along with other major schools and colleges under one roof from 16th to 17th November, 2019.
The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Sushil Chandra Mahapatra, Dean, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar; Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar-KIIT DU; Maj. Gen.(Dr.)P.K. Patnaik, Principal-cum- Director, School of Medicine; Prof. Amarita Lenka, Principal, KINS and Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services, KIIT Deemed to be University. The Chief Guest Dr. Mahapatra emphasized on the role of Medicine in today’s world and advised the audience to use and take medicines judiciously.
On 17th November 2019 the renowned Stand-up Comedian Mr. Biswa Kalyan Rath graced the occasion and enthralled the audience by means of his humorous stories.
