KIIT International Relations Office Conducts Webinar on “Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on the Future of Study Abroad Education”
At a time when pursuing higher education abroad is becoming a far-fetched dream for the students, KIIT International Relations Office organized a Webinar on 7th August, 2020 with IDP, University of Bristol, UK and University of Melbourne, Australia for KIIT students who aspire for higher education abroad.
Mr. Debraj Pradhan, (Retd. Ambassador) Director General, KIIT International Relations welcomed the panelists and briefed the students on the New Education Policy of India and how it can provide greater mobility to students internationally. Among the topics discussed by senior representatives from the University of Bristol, UK and University of Melbourne, Australia were: Impact of COVID-19 on overseas education opportunities, importance of blended learning that has become the new normal, application procedure, fee structure, academic calendar and other concerns relating to higher education in the current scenario.
The student participants enthusiastically took part in the discussion and got their queries answered. The Webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Pragyan Patnaik, Deputy Director, KIIT International Relations.
