KIIT – Ericsson Talent Development Program
KiiT – Ericsson ‘Talent Development Program, an initiative dedicated to bridge the gap between Academia and Corporate was started in 2015 as a Pilot program at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.
This mutual collaboration between Ericsson and KIIT DU is intended to create corporate-ready engineers. New Industry Elective titled, ”Cloud Technology’ was launched on 15th February, 2019 for the first time in India at KIIT DU. After completion of the training program, students appeared for Mid-Semester and End-Semester exams to fulfill the academic requirements.
Finally they were awarded certificates in a special Convocation Ceremony on 12th July, 2019 by Mr. Ranjit Sinha, Head of GSC India Site Operations and University Program(Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd.). Senior dignitaries from Ericsson as well as KIIT DU were present during this event which was conducted by Central Training & Placement Department.
