KIIT Entrepreneurship Cell Organizes KIIT Startup Konclave 2021
KIIT Entrepreneurship Cell in association with KIIT School of Management (KSOM) and KIIT Training and Placement (KIIT T&P) Cell organized the KIIT Startup Konclave 2021 from 16th – 18th April, 2021.
The event was conducted through a customized virtual platform, which gave the audience a feel of attending the event physically. It had various facilities such as Lounge, Lobby, Helpdesk, Booth, Stage, and much more, through which participants had the opportunity to communicate with fellow participants, investors and mentors, in order to network and build fruitful connections.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS; Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, KIIT-DU; Dr. Saranjit Singh, Director Industry Engagements & Placements; and Rtn. Jayashree Mohanty, Member, Startup Task Force.
The Konclave was a culmination of 15 different events, each of which was unique, with 35+ multifaceted speakers, mentors, and investors for every event. They tried their level best to provide the best-suited guidance possible. There were 350+ participants, who showed immense enthusiasm throughout the span of the event. The Q&A and Discuss sections of the Virtual Platform were flooded with questions to which each speaker gave properly explained answers.
The distinguished speakers included officials from Google, Amul, Razorpay, LTI, BALCO, Extramarks, Burger King, and many other renowned organizations. Some of the highlighted events included the workshop named Contentify which featured ‘The Scribbled Stories’, India’s largest storytelling platform. ‘Gaming as a Career’ featured India’s First Red Bull Gaming Athlete, Ankit ‘V3nom’ Panth. BrandPad had Hemal Thakkar, Assistant Brand Manager, Burger King. Industry 4.0 had Siddhant Agarwal, Program Coordinator, Developer Relations, Google, and many more.
The showstopper event was the Youtuber session with India’s top comedian, Vipul Goyal who had the crowd in stitches with his razor-sharp wit and humor!
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU; Dr. Kumar Mohanty, Director Corporate Relations, and faculty-in-charge of KIIT E-CELL; and Keynote Speaker, Mr. Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing-partner, Ivycap Ventures, who inspired the audience with their words and encouraged students to venture out, and explore more about Startups. They also congratulated the Organizing team of KIIT Startup Konclave, for deftly managing an event of this scale, even in such unprecedented times.
The organizing committee comprised of all the members of the KIIT Entrepreneurship Cell. These enthusiastic minds did not let the global pandemic be a bar to their vision, bringing up this event virtually, and thereby contributing to the growth of youngsters as well.
