KIIT-DU Signs MoU with Subhadra Mahatab Mohavidyalaya, Kendrapara

KIIT Deemed to be University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Subhadra Mahatab Mohavidyalaya, Asureswar, Kendrapara to explore collaborative opportunities in the areas of mutual interest, such as higher education, research and innovation. The purpose of the MoU is to enhance engagement and capabilities of both the institutions. It will facilitate academic arrangements, collaborative research projects and support the exchange of personnel.

As a part of UGC-sponsored Paramarsh scheme, KIIT has been extending help to the colleges and universities of the state aspiring for NAAC accreditation or improving grades in NAAC. KIIT has decided to extend collaborative support to all the aspiring Colleges and Universities of the state free of cost. Recently, various Universities and Colleges have signed MoUs with KIIT, while many others are in the pipeline.

In a nutshell, the MoU is a collaborative agreement to facilitate and promote cooperation between both the Universities and Colleges with a view to support research collaboration, incubation activities, capacity building, free access to Library and laboratories and other forms of academic partnerships.

The MoU with Subhadra Mahatab Mohavidyalaya was signed by its Principal, Prof. Ramanath Sahoo and Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU on 4th March 2021. Dr. Suprava Parida, Dr. Birupakshya Ray, and Dr. Mohammed Sakil from S M Mahavidyalaya; and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT were present at the MoU signing ceremony. Prof. J K Parida, Director, KIIT School of Commerce & Economics and  Coordinator of Paramarsh coordinating the program.
