KIIT-DU Signs MoU with Institute of Company Secretaries of India

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) signed a MoU on academic collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on 23rd April, 2021 through virtual mode. The purpose of this academic collaboration is to work jointly in the field of academics, training, research, faculty development, organizing joint workshops and seminars for the benefit of the students and members of both the organizations.

On behalf of KIIT-DU, the MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Sasmita Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor, in the presence of several senior members of both KIIT-DU and ICSI, including CS Nagendra D. Rao, President, ICSI; CS Devendra V. Deshpande, Vice President; Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU; Prof. (Dr.) Bhavani Prasad Panda, Director, KIIT School of Law, and many other faculty members and students of KIIT School of Law.

Prof. (Dr.) Samanta noted that this collaboration between a globally renowned University and a national professional body will be of great value to the students, faculties and members of both organizations. ICSI also congratulated KIIT-DU for its recognition and acclaim in The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. The MoU was coordinated by Prof. Sudipta De Sarkar of KIIT School of Law, with the guidance and advice of Prof. (Dr.) Bhavani Prasad Panda.
