KIIT-DU Hosts Inter-Hostel Premier League of Volleyball & Badminton

The Hostel Department of KIIT Deemed to be University recently organized the HPL 2023, an inter-hostel premier league of Volleyball and Badminton tournaments for the boarders of all boys’ hostels. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship and inter-hostel boarders’ relationships while enhancing leadership qualities amongst them. The tournament had 24 teams each for Volleyball and Badminton, and it took place at Campus 13 and KP-5 Volleyball Courts from April 12 to May 2, 2023.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony on May 2, where Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU, awarded the prizes for the Winners and Runners up of the Volleyball and Badminton Championships. Among others, the Registrar, KIIT-DU; Director, Student Affairs; Jt. Registrar (Admin); Director, Campus Relation; and Jt. Director (Admin) were present. Under the guidance of Mr. Sudhir Kumar Rath, Director-Hostel, and Senior Administrative Officer Mr. Tapan Kumar Pati, the tournament was successfully coordinated by the Hostel team and student coordinators.
