KIIT DU Conducts Training Program at Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute, Bhubaneswar

KIIT- DU in collaboration with Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute, Bhubaneswar conducted aspecialized training program Mission SAFECARE to strengthen safety awareness, communication skills, crisis response, emergency codes, service excellence, and public service standards among Security personnel of Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswaron the 14th& 15thof May, 2026 (First Batch) and 18th & 21st May 2026 (Second Batch). The Resource Person for the Training Program was Dr. (Ms) Manojna Panda, Additional Director- Training & Skilling, KIIT-DU.

The initiative, inspired by the visionary leadership of Prof.(Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS, reflected a collective commitment towards creating a safer and more responsive hospital environment.

Through interactive sessions and practical guidance, participants were sensitized to the critical role security staff play in ensuring patient safety, maintaining order, and supporting healthcare professionals during emergencies.

The Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute Leadership team appreciated the support of KIIT-DU. They praised the Trainer and the structured, interactive approach of the program, acknowledging its relevance and effectiveness in strengthening the preparedness and confidence of security personnel. They expressed confidence that such initiatives would further empower security personnel with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to effectively manage challenging situations while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and healthcare workers alike.
