KIIT and KIMS associate with Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) with an objective of conducting Human Resource Development and Capacity Building Programs in various sectors pertaining to healthcare.
JDWNRH is the most reputed hospital located in the capital of Bhutan, Thimphu. Since its establishment in 1972, the hospital has been supplying free basic medical treatment as well as advanced surgeries and emergency services to citizens of Bhutan.
A Training Needs Assessment was successfully concluded from 18-22nd August, 2019 at Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital, Thimphu Bhutan by a team of experts from KIIT Group of Institutions proposed by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS comprising of the following members:

The assessment will lead to various training programs in the field of Human Resource Development and Capacity Building conducted by KIIT and KIMS for JDWNR Hospital in the near future. The program was initiated and facilitated by the KIIT International Relations Office.
