KIIT-Aerospace Discipline Organized a Technical Discourse at HAL-Koraput Division, Sunabeda
In order to strengthen the professional engagement, a technical discourse was organized by KIIT Deemed to be University in HAL-Koraput Division, Sunabeda on 7th June, 2019. The Faculty and Technical Staff from Aerospace Discipline, KIIT DU; Senior Officials from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Koraput; KIIT alumni working in HAL and Scientists from Regional Centre for Military Airworthiness (RCMA)-DRDO, Koraput Division actively participated in the technical discourse.
The meeting was commenced with introductory speech by Prof. Mrutyunjay Jena, Programme Head, Aerospace Discipline highlighting the great achievements of Founder-KIIT & KISS. Executive Director-Koraput Division, Regional Director-RCMA, DRDO and Senior Officers from HAL highly praised the relentless effort of Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta in building such a huge organization and the facilities set-up in KIIT.
HAL-Koraput and RCMA, DRDO-Koraput expressed their consent in mentoring and involvement for further growth of Aerospace Discipline in KIIT DU. The meeting and the technical discourse came to an end with brief sharing of experiences by KIIT alumni working in HAL. During 2 days of stay at HAL–Koraput, the Faculty and Technical staff of Aerospace Discipline-KIIT DU visited MiG and Sukhoi Engine Division for better understanding and familiarization with aero-engine domain.
