Induction Training Programme for newly recruited SSB lecturers in English
The Induction Training Programme for newly recruited SSB lecturers of Odisha in the discipline of English was started in KIIT Deemed to be University on 16th January, 2020.This is a two week fully residential training programme sponsored by Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha and organized by KIIT Deemed to be University.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Asoka Das , Vice Chairman, Odisha Higher Education Council, Government of Odisha in presence of Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University; Prof. J.K. Parida, Director, QAC and Dr. Biswajit Mishra, Dean, QAC.
Prof. Asoka Das in his inaugural speech highlighted the aims and objectives of such programmes and advised newly recruited faculty members to be the role models. Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University highlighted about the time management and effective use of literature.
In his welcome address. Prof. J.K. Parida, Director, QAC suggested the effective measures for the challenges the teachers usually face in the institutions. The inaugural session was ended with a vote of thanks to the guests, participants and supporting staff by Dr. Biswajit Mishra, Dean, QAC.
