Inauguration of Schneider Electric Lab
KIIT School of Electrical Engineering
One Academic Laboratory (BEE Lab-II) and one Research Laboratory in collaboration with Schneider Electric were inaugurated by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS on 7th November, 2019 at the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University.
The Founder appreciated the efforts made by staff and suggested about greater involvement of faculty members in research lab (Schneider Electric Lab) so that students will be more benefitted.
In fact, the Schneider Electric Lab specifically focuses for automation system and smart energy management. This lab will also give a platform to have hands on experiences on emerging technologies and build skills of real world among students and researchers. It will act as a bridge between academia and industry and will explore in creating “Centre of Excellence” in the eastern zone.
During the inaugural function, Mr. Samir Panda, Advisor, KIIT; Prof. S.Samanta, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Prof. J.R.Mohanty, Registrar; Prof. C.K.Panigrahi, Director, SoEE; Prof. S.Singh, Director, IEC; Prof K.Mohanty, Director, Corporate Relations and Dr. M.R.Nayak, Director, Planning and many other senior functionaries of the University were present.
Besides, Prof. S.Behera, FIC, Schneider Electric Lab, Associate Dean, All Program Heads, faculty members, staff and students of SoEE were also present during the function.
