Iftar Party Celebrated at KIIT
Like every year, KIIT hosted a special Iftar Party on 19th April, 2023, attended by Muslim staff members of KIIT as well as students from all over India and abroad. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, graced the event and emphasized that compassion, humanity, love, and harmony are fundamental principles of every religion. He highlighted that KIIT & KISS are institutions established on the platform of compassion and humanity.
Addressing students, Dr. Samanta emphasized the importance of loving and receiving love and affection from those around them, as it brings self-satisfaction and resolves many psychological and social problems through mutual love and affection. Dr. Samanta further urged every student to adopt the philosophy of “Art of Giving” as a habit, to achieve perpetual bliss for themselves and create an ambiance of peace and harmony for those around them.
The event was attended by dignitaries including Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Vice Chancellor of KIIT-DU; Prof. Saranjit Singh, Pro-VC; Prof. CBK Mohanty, Pro-VC of KIMS; and Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, along with other senior functionaries of KIIT, KISS, and KIMS.
