IEEE International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing & Communication(AESPC-2018) is being organized by School of Electronics Engineering (SoEE), KIIT DU from 22nd to 24th October, 2018 at Campus-12.

The Inaugural Ceremony  was graced by Prof. Richard Morling, Prof. Sheel Aditya and Prof. Debatosh Guha as the international delegates in presence of Prof. Hrushikesh Mohanty, VC, KIIT-DU;  Prof. A. K. Sen, Chairman UG Program; Prof. A. K. Ray, Dean SoEE, and  Prof. Sudhakar Sahu  Conference Chair.

At the outset, Prof. Ray, the General Chair for the conference placed the welcome address in greeting all the delegates & participants. He spoke about KIIT & KISS and conveyed the goodwill message of the Founder to all the delegates. Prof. A.K. Sen told about the achievements of the School and thanked the organizing committee for successfully organizing the conference.

Prof. Debatosh Guha was very thankful to the organizing committee for their effort. He suggested about the future continuation of the conference with a special session for the UG students. Prof. Morling  shared his views about KIIT & KISS. He also spoke about the enrichment of research activities by solving real-life problems. Prof. Sheel Aditya thanked the conference chair for inviting him to experience the KIIT for the first time.

Prof. Hrusikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor of KIIT DU expressed his happiness for the continual effort by SoEE, to organize such events successfully. He stressed upon the involvement of students in organizing the conference with a special session for the students. He also spoke about enriching the conference with industry symposium and said that the conference should be held every year.

Proposing Vote of Thanks, Prof. Sudhakar Sahu greeted all the delegates on & off the stage and offered special thanks to all the committee members and volunteers for their valuable support. On the occasion, a cultural program was performed by Geeta Govinda Shrusti Nrutya Rasa Dance Institute.
