Hospital on Wheels demonstrated at KIMS

Doctors  of KIMS underwent a Training Programme  on the modus- operandi of carrying out different Medical Treatment within an Ultramodern Bus turned State-of-the-Art Mini Hospital, courtesy Johnson & Johnson-a Multinational Company which has launched such an innovative concept of providing Mobile Medical Care to patients in time of need.   

Such well equipped Hospital on Wheels was demonstrated at KIMS for the awareness of Doctors and Medical Students recently. The Training Programme  was inaugurated by Major General Prof.(Dr.) P. K. Patnaik, Principal, KIMS in presence of Doctors from all the Departments of KIMS. 

The Training Session was conducted in certain spheres of Medical Treatment like  JJIW Ethiskill Suturing, Knotting, Abdominal & Bowel Anastomosis, Basic  Lap & Intra Corporeal  Suturing,    Endo  Stapler Training,  E-Repair  and  Perineal Repair etc.

While Johnson & Johnson was the sponsor of this programme,   KIMS became the first hospital in Odisha in hosting this sort of Training Program on Wheels.
