Hindi Pakhwada and Hindi Diwas celebrated at KIIT
“Khwahishein”- the Hindi Society of KIIT Student Activity Centre organized a week long Hindi pakhwada and celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th of September, 2019. The activities included in the Hindi Pakhwada were Lekh(The Essay Writing Competition), Chitrakari(The Drawing Competition) and Quiz Competition.
The competitions were conducted at KIIT International School and Upper Primary School, Pathargadia on 6th & 7th September’19 on the theme of Swachh Bharat, Sundar Bharat and 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. On 8th September, two more activities- Kavya Path(slam poetry) and Dangal(Debate) took place for students at KSAC.
‘Abhivyakti’, the annual event to celebrate Hindi Diwas to promote the essence of Hindi Language was organized at KSAC on 14th September, 2019. Dr. Shankarlal Purohit, Former Reader, BJB College was the Chief Guest of the evening. He gave a key note lecture on the importance of Hindi language and motivated the young minds to promote Hindi among the students community.
Mr. Ashok Pandey, Former Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya; Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services and Dr. Kajal Parashar, Dy. Director, CEC-cum- Faculty coordinator were also present during the event and addressed the gathering.
