FDP on Universal Human Values UHV Held at KIIT

A three-day face-to-face Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) was held at KIIT Deemed to be University from 8th to 10th December 2023. The program, facilitated by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, was organized and sponsored by KIIT-DU.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU shared insightful perspectives on the significance of promoting universal human values within the educational realm, emphasizing their transformative impact on individuals and societies. Dr. Debnath, resource person from AICTE, delved into the essence of universal human values, sharing profound insights on their importance in fostering understanding, compassion, and cooperation across cultural and societal boundaries.

Earlier, Prof. (Dr.) Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of fostering universal human values as a cornerstone for a harmonious and inclusive global society.Expressing heartfelt appreciation, Dr. Diptikanta Das, Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering and the Local Program Coordinator of the FDP, conveyed gratitude to participants, speakers, and organizers. He emphasized the shared dedication to advocating and embodying universal human values.

The Deans, Directors, and faculty members from various schools attended the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Satyaranjan Jena, Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and the Local Program Coordinator of the FDP, hosted the inaugural session. Total 108 participants registered for this FDP.
