Cultural Event “SAARANG” held in KIIT School of Civil Engineering
KIIT Society of Civil Engineers (KSCE) in association with ASCE and ICE, Student Chapter organized a cultural event “SAARANG” as part of Pre-Durga Puja Celebration on 24th September, 2019. Students from all the 4 years of the School participated in this event.
It was an unique initiative taken by newly appointed Director Dr. B.G. Mohapatra and Faculty-in-charge Dr. K.P. Samal along with the student coordinators of different societies of KIIT School of Civil Engineering (KSCE, ICE, ASCE).
The word “SAARANG” means multicolored and that’s why the event had different colorful performances by the students. The event, “SAARANG” provided an opportunity to the students of School of Civil Engineering to showcase their talents in extra-curricular activities.
The function was attended by faculties and staff members of SCE. At the end of the program, Director Dr. B.G. Mohapatra; Associate Dean Dr. S. Moulick; Associate Dean T&P Dr. D.K. Bera, and KSCE Faculty-in-charge Dr. K.P. Samal encouraged the students to conduct such type events occasionally.
Dr. B.G. Mohapatra concluded the session with Vote of Thanks to the organizing committee members. This cultural programme was very successful and fascinating as the students of other branches also attended this program.
