Celebration of Statehood Day of Assam & Nagaland at Lok-Bhavan, Odisha

Odisha Lok Bhavan organized a grand celebration on 2^nd December 2025 to commemorate the Statehood Day of Assam and Nagaland under the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” program. On this occasion, students and staff members of KIIT Deemed to be University belonging to the states of Assam and Nagaland were invited to participate and showcase the vibrant culture and spirit of their respective regions. A group of students and staff from KIIT-DU took part in the event. Students from other colleges and corporate professionals were also invited to join the celebration.

A KIIT student, Mr. Mrityunjay Das, hailing from the beautiful state of Assam, presented a cultural performance by singing an Assamese song, gracefully highlighting the rich traditions and heritage of the state. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, the Hon’ble First Lady, along with several distinguished dignitaries and senior leaders, making the celebration truly memorable.
