It is usually the family, from where the sense of love, affection and sharing happiness to others originates. Actually, the love and affection disseminated by the mother become the stepping stone in encouraging the children to give to others later in their life. Based on this thought, the 8th Art of Giving Day is being celebrated across the world on 17th May 2021.

The Founder of Art of Giving(AoG), Dr. Achyuta Samanta has picked ‘My Mother-My Hero‘ as the theme of AoG for this year to spread the essence of loving others and sharing happiness among them unconditionally. No outdoor activity has been organized to mark the occasion. The fans and followers of AoG across the globe are celebrating Art of Giving Day enthusiastically by conveying gratitude to their Mothers. Due to the enduring 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic, requests have been made to one and all, to pay gratitude to their mothers on this theme staying at home this year.

Ace sprinter Dutee Chand; and noted Indian fencer, C.A. Bhavani Devi etc. have joined in the celebration of Art of Giving Day among scores of distinguished individuals from every walk of life.
