Annual KIIT Academic Empowerment Programme 2026 Inaugurated at KIIT-DU
The inaugural ceremony of the KIIT Academic Empowerment Programme (K-AEP) 2026 was held on 28 June 2026, with enthusiastic participation from faculty members, academic leaders, and staff across the University. Organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the week-long academic empowerment programme is being conducted from 27 June to 3 July 2026 under the theme “Redefining Higher Education: Innovation, Mentoring & Stress Management.”
The programme has been designed to strengthen faculty competencies by focusing on emerging dimensions of higher education, including innovation, mentoring, holistic well-being, research excellence, curriculum transformation, and institutional development. It provides an interactive platform for faculty members to engage with eminent academicians, industry experts, and thought leaders while reinforcing KIIT’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS, along with senior university leadership, deans, directors, principals, faculty members, and distinguished guests. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Samanta emphasised the pivotal role of empowered faculty in shaping future-ready graduates and achieving excellence in higher education. He reiterated the University’s unwavering commitment to fostering innovation, quality teaching, and student-centric academic practices. He further urged faculty members to focus on high-impact, quality research, strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations, and continuously strive for academic excellence that contributes to society and global knowledge creation.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Samanta stated that faculty members are the backbone of every great institution. He encouraged participants to embrace innovation, strengthen mentoring practices, uphold academic integrity, and continuously upgrade their knowledge to address the evolving needs of higher education. He also stressed the importance of holistic development, ethical values, and wellness in creating an enriching learning environment.

Programme 2026 Inaugurated at KIIT-DU
The inaugural day commenced with an engaging session on Consciousness-Based Education (CBE) conducted by the Maharshi Institute of Vedic Sciences. This was followed by a special address by Shri Jai Kishan Jhaver, Chairman, Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation and Member, Central Board, Jhaver Group, who shared his perspectives on value-based education and the integration of Indian knowledge traditions with contemporary higher education. The formal inaugural ceremony brought together the entire KIIT academic fraternity, marking the beginning of another significant edition of K-AEP dedicated to empowering educators and advancing academic excellence.
Over the course of the week, K-AEP 2026 will feature expert sessions on Consciousness-Based Education, mentoring, stress management, lifestyle disease management, NEP curriculum alignment, research funding opportunities, innovation, workplace dignity, and faculty wellness. The programme also includes interactive team-building and wellness activities aimed at promoting holistic professional development among faculty members.
