Achyuta Samanta gets Doctorate Degree from Vitebsk State University, Belarus

Eminent educationist and philanthropist Dr. Achyuta Samanta has been conferred prestigious Doctorate Degree(Honoris Causa) by Belarus based Vitebsk State University. This degree was awarded on the eve of the Triumph Day of Belarus at a vivid ceremony specifically  organized for the purpose. On the occasion, the honour was received by Dr. Satyendra Patnaik in absence of  Dr. Achyuta Samanta.

According to the University Sources, this award has been bestowed to Dr. Samanta  for his commendable work in the field of education and social work. While Vitebsk State University is 169 years old Institution, Dr. Samanta has become the first person from Odisha to get the coveted Doctorate Degree from any University in Belarus.

For this honour conferred to him, Dr. Samanta has expressed his thankfulness to the University. “It is another recognition to my three decade long philanthropic work”, remarked Dr. Samanta .
