87th Birth Anniversary of Pradyumna Bal observed
The 87th Birth Anniversary of Eminent Statesman, Journalist, Social Activist and Parliamentarian Pradyumna Kishore Bal has been celebrated in the premises of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences on 8th November, 2019.
Gracing the commemoration ceremony held for the purpose, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS; Sri R.N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS; Dr. P.K. Routray and Dr. P.K. Das, Director of Livelihood, KISS along with others evoked the noble deeds of Pradyumna Bal and urged the KISS students to be courageous, truthful and honest likewise the legendary personality.
Pradyumna Bal had always been championing the cause of deprived, downtrodden and tribal peoples of the society. He was writing and propagating their concerns in his Odia News Paper ‘Pragativadi’, the dignitaries remarked.
Earlier in the morning , Dr. Samanta garlanded the statute of Pradyumna Bal at KIMS in presence of Dr. Bishnu Panigrahi, CEO, KIMS; Maj Gen. (Dr.) P.K. Patnaik,VSM; Sri Panchanan Parida, Management Representative; Sri Dilip Panda, Dy. Registrar, KIMS and Sri K.P. Dwivedi, Sr. A.O. along with Senior Functionaries, Facilities and Administrative Staffs of KIMS and PBMH. All the dignitaries commemorated Pradyumna Bal on his Birth Anniversary.
