16th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Internet Technology Inaugurated at KIIT
The 16th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Internet Technology (ICDCIT-2020) was inaugurated at the Auditorium, Campus-7 of KIIT Deemed to be University on 11th January, 2020.
The proceedings of the conference was released by the Chief Guest, Prof. Govind J Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, Berhampur University; Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice-Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University; Prof. Raja Natarajan, TIFR, India; Prof. R. K. Shyamasundar, IIT Bombay, India; Prof. Laxmi Parida, IBM Research, USA; Prof. Ratan K Ghosh, IIT Kanpur, India; Prof. Dang Van Hung, University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam; and Prof. Meenakshi D’Souza, International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, India.
The proceedings was published by Springer in the series of Lecture Notes in Computer Science.The proceedings for 9th PIC, the satellite event of ICDCIT-2020 was also released by the dignitaries in the ISBN numbered book format along with the editors of the book Dr. Siddharth Rautaray, Dr. Jagannath Singh, Prof. Mamta Motwani and Mr. Bedadyuti Sahoo.
The event was organized by Dr. Siddharth Rautaray, Organizing Chair, 16th ICDCIT 2020. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. J. R. Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU; Prof. Samaresh Mishra, Director, KIIT School of Computer Engineering along with Invited Speakers Prof. Dale Miller, Professor, INRIA Saclay-Paris, Prof. Arunkumar Balakrishnan, Director, ikval Softwares LLP, all the author, participants and students.
Notably, since 2004, ICDCIT conference series has been a global platform for Computer Science researchers to exchange research results and ideas on the foundations and applications of Distributed Computing and Internet Technology. These technologies are increasingly relevant to individuals and organizations who engage in the production, processing and dissemination of knowledge.
