As a part of the Webinar Series on ‘CSR and Development’, KIIT School of Rural Management organized a talk by Ms. Jasbir Kaur, STEM for Girls Lead – IBM India, IBM Corporate Citizenship on 21st August 2020 for the students of MBA (RM), MBA (ABM) and PGDCD. In her talk, Ms. Kaur highlighted some of the important dimensions that are critical for both professional and personal lives. Passion is the key to success in whatever work we do. “One has to trust oneself and not be afraid to start. It is also very important to have mentors in our life who can guide us through, analyze our work and help in the learning process. Another important dimension is the leadership quality and channeling this is very crucial for our growth”. She also stressed that introspection, preparing oneself and getting out of the comfort zone will go a long way. Ms. Kaur also shared her work on IBM STEM for girls and the initiatives taken up by her during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier, Prof. Nirmal Mandal welcomed Ms. Kaur on behalf of the institute.
